The Foothills British Car Club would like to invite you to join us at a private, all day event we are hosting at the Carolina Motorsports Park track on Oct 16, 2024. This will be a full day of on the track driving both in organized groups and individually plus classroom instruction. It will be a day to learn more about how to drive your car and also see what it can do on an enclosed track under professional instruction.

Since this is a private event only seat belts are required. Roll bars and hardtops are not required. We will rent helmets or you can bring your own.

• Drive down Oct 15th, 16th is Track Day, Drive home on the 17th
• Hotel is the Hampton Inn Camden. Group rate is $179 per night.
• Cost for Track Day is $450 per vehicle
  • Based on 40 vehicles
  • Spectators permitted at $30 each to cover catered lunch at track.
• Two dinners at a local restaurant plus two nights hotel are extra and not included in track day price.
• Two events at the track
  • Morning – Taste of The Track.  Classroom instruction followed by laps in small groups with a lead car. Hwy speeds of 70-75 MPH plus depending on comfort level
  • Afternoon – Private laps with instructor in car. Speeds are at your comfort level
  • Some experienced drivers will be allowed out without an instructor.
  • All events, group size, car groupings etc will be organized and run by Turn One Performance Driving.
  • While we encourage you to bring a British car, non British cars will be welcome.
• The $450 cost for the track day includes the track for entire day,  8AM – 5PM with a lunch break from 11-12.

    • Flags and radio rental
    • Full day garage building (24 bays)
  • 5 instructors

  • Security in the hotel parking lot by the Camden Police for both nights at the hotel.
  • Helmets that we will rotate amongst us. (Or bring your own)
  • Clubhouse Rental for the day.

    • Classes and lunch will be there
  • The FBBC has taken out a one day insurance policy specifically for this event
  • Turn One Performance Driving will handle all logistics day of the day including Race Control/Starter/Pit Out.

In order to lock down the date we need to have 40 registrations by June 30 at $450 per vehicle. So if you are going please sign up quickly. If we do not get to 40 your registration fee will be fully refunded.

Please Note. Payments for the track day are non-refundable. We will have sent in non-refundable deposits to hold the event and so cannot issue refunds. However, if there is interest above 40 we will start a waiting list. If you need to drop out of the event we will attempt to get someone to “purchase” your spot from you.
