FBCC Calendar

We are a car club that loves to get together and loves to drive our cars. Our main form of scheduling events is our Google Group Email Chain that you will be joined into when you become a member. Our events are very spontaneous so check this schedule often.

There are four sections to this page
1) Upcoming Events
2) Regular Events like monthly meetings
3) Non FBCC Events we attend as a club
4) Past Events

If you are a non member who would like to join us on one of our drives to check us out please do so. All are welcome. Contact Us and we will get you details. Let us know which drive(s) you are interested in.

Below is our Events Calendar so you can see items at a glance. Details for the events are further down the page. Much of what we do is spontaneous and shows up on our calendar within a few days of the actual event.

May 2, 2026. 10AM – ?
Palmetto Live Steamers at Hunter Farm Days
4300 Hopewell Rd Williamston, SC 29697

The Foothills British Car Club is once again invited to participate in the 2026 Annual Farm Day Festival.

The Palmetto Live Steamers designed, built, operate, and maintain two large-scale live steam railroads: a 1.5 mile 7.5-inch gauge railroad and an 1,800 foot 2-foot gauge loop. The 7.5 inch railroad includes a 13-stall roundhouse with an 18-foot turntable; and a terminal area with 15-steaming bays, a yard, and a wye. The route runs past a waterfall. The 2-foot gauge railroad offers rides around the property from a centrally located station. You can find a video of both railroads by searching “Palmetto Live Steamers”. Look for a U-tube video titled, “Palmetto Live Steamers”, and visit the Club’s Facebook page at “Palmetto Live Steamers”.

This property also houses a collection of large stationary steam engines, hit and miss engines, steam tractors (some of which will be operating), a steam-powered saw mill, veneer mill
and cotton gin. A maintenance shop and two cook houses are among the other operating displays. If you know how to cook on a wood stove you might be put to work. Three large museum buildings house extensive collections of antique and classic automobiles, farm tractors, and large-scale model aircraft. The railroad facilities and museums will be open to guests during the festival. There is no cost to attend.
