Tim Strickland has had a long association with the Foothills British Car Club that began before the club had a name.  Co-founder David Galloway left a business card on Tim’s 1960 Austin Healey 3000 back in the early 1990’s with an appealing invitation. “Call me if you would like to join a British car club.”  He subsequently had the first of many great conversations with David about forming a car club and organizing one in its infancy.

The first year’s dues were 12 postage stamps, which were used for the newsletter. Tim and his wife Sandra went on to join many club events over the years and were instrumental in the early development of the club. Tim served as club president in 1999 and contributed to many of the driving events over the years.  They continue to enjoy watching the club grow while meeting new people and building lasting friendships.
