Drive Meeting Points

When we do our drives we often have a few places along the the drive where we meet and pickup additional members. This means not everyone has to drive to the start point

When you get the Google Email talking about a drive or see it on our website, look for any of the locations below and more importantly the times associated with that meeting point.

Don’t assume every meeting point below is on every drive.

If you do, that could make for a long wait for no one to show up. Check to email about the drive to see which meeting points are listed.

Here they are from east to west.

Jud’s Brown Building

Many drives start from here. But because it’s on the eastern end of our membership we tend to pick up folks along the way via the meeting points below. Look at the email about drive to see which, if any, are included. For example if we go east from here there are no eastern meeting points.

Corner of Lister Rd and Hwy 14 in Landrum. The driveway is on 14. Don’t plug in Jud’s House address. That’s on Lister. Building is 1.9 miles south of the intersection of Hwy 11 and Hwy 14. This address will get you there and then look for the FBBC yard sign at the end of the driveway on Hwy 14

The Other Brown Building

This is a great pickup point for folks in Traveler’s Rest and eastern Greenville.

This is on Hwy 11 on the NW side of the intersection of Hwy 11 and Hwy 25. Looks like an old brown one room schoolhouse. There is a gravel pad in front to park. This address will get you close.

Marietta Ice Machine

This is also a great pickup point for folks in Traveler’s Rest and eastern Greenville. Whether we use this one or the Other Brown Building is at the whim of the person organizing the drive so pay attention.

Hwy 11 and 276

This is a good pickup point for folks in Greenville or even western Greenville if we head over Caesar’s head to Brevard from here.

There is no address but it’s a gravel parking lot where 276 comes off Hwy 11 to go to Caesar’s Head State Park.

Holly Springs Country Store

This is our western most pickup point and often a start point. There is gas, restrooms and refreshments available. When this is a start point departure will often start from Jud’s Brown Building well before and pick up folks along the way.
